Our new content management system designed for clusters, or groups of websites (Cluster CMS) is now available to our customers.

The purpose of Cluster CMS is to allow you to manage and update multiple websites from a single administration point. Groups of websites can share one or more templates so that you can control the corporate look and feel across a range of sites. Cluster CMS allows you to easily add and alter pages and content. There is a great deal of design flexibility built into the system covering the style and positioning of multiple menus and the definition and positioning of editable content zones on the pages. The preview feature allows you to examine each page before they are published. There are a number of objects and forms that are translated into multiple languages. For instance the ‘Contact us’ form will automatically be displayed in the chosen language.

Another feature allows you to publish a single image across all sites containing the same page name, for instance for a special offer. You can specify multiple and different notification email addresses for standard forms in each site enabling you to create separate landing pages. There is also a built in search facility.

An extra benefit of  using the Cluster CMS system is that the reporting tool allows administrators to access form data, for instance contacts, for all the sites in the cluster. Cluster CMS includes a comprehensive permissions structure to control who can do what.
